Working with more than one developer in Xcode9

Hello,
I am new to iOS/Swift development. I wanted to know how you would work in a team while using xcode 9.2? I read up on the git tutorial and am able to create a repository on github but now how do my team members connect to the repository?

Or is there an different way to work as a team?
The project has to be done in Swift and is for an iPad.
