sorry if i am missing something obvious, but where is .htaccess located? am doing chapter 2… quick look and it states “Finally open .htaccess with a text editor and add the following…”. I’ve gone through every resource and can’t seem to find this. trying to get through chapter and clicking “index.html” just comes up with file not accessible… u assume the .htaccess file drives this permission, but can’ find.

— ok, worked it out… it’s a Mac thing, and not a tutorial thing. for anyone else who has the same issue “In Finder, open up your Macintosh HD folder ; Press Command+Shift+Dot; Your hidden files will become visible. Repeat step 2 to hide them again!” I’m mostly a windows person so wasn’t second nature for me. —
