Hi all, the “What you need” paragraph of the Introduction chapter stated that to run the samples on physical hardware, you’ll need an iPhone running iOS 10.0 or later and an Apple Watch running watchOS 3.0 or later.

I have an Apple Watch series 1, there may be compatibility issues with the tutorials?

If you are running watchOS 3.0 or later you should be just fine. I have an original watch with watchOS 3.0 and it works well.

(I’ve been swimming with my watch but I just can’t kill it, so I don’t know when I’ll be upgrading.)
