Supporting SwiftUI with Core Graphics, Episode 3: Host a UIView in a SwiftUI View | Kodeco, the new raywenderlich.com

Upgrade a SwiftUI drawing pad to UIKit. Examine the app architecture and understand how to insert UIKit views in a SwiftUI app.

This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://www.kodeco.com/31558295-supporting-swiftui-with-core-graphics/lessons/3

I must admit this one is way too fast for me. It seems to assume that I know UIView stuff by heart and races through all the necessary wiring until my head spins. Why are some functions @objc in this case? When does what happen at runtime? etc.

Normally the pace of all the videos was okay for me, but this one should be slowed down and/or extended. Perhaps understanding UIView is a prerequisite? If so that should be stated (more explicit, if it is done simewhere)

Thank you @kontrafiktion for your honest viewpoint on this particular lesson. I will send pass this message to the team by tagging the author.
