Space bar Jump in super soy boy will not work

I am finishing up chapter 13 and so excited to jump my tofu guy and he will not jump. So I did the chapter again and still no jump.
what am I missing?

Check your inputs. Go to edit->Project Settings-> Input and make sure space is the positive button[quote=“jackhazard, post:1, topic:96446, full:true”]
