In this episode, learn how to use Bootstrap to style your application and make it look amazing. You’ll
also learn how to serve static files, like images from Vapor.
I’ve been having a great time with this course, and highly-recommend it. It helps that Tim knows what he’s talking about, but, this being RW, that’s pretty-much to be expected.
However, I’m having a problem with the course materials. Perhaps it’s something about my system, but, when I clone the git repository, all of the “starter” and “final” folders are empty. I tried downloading a zip file from GitHub with the same result.
For a long time, this was problematic because, in cases where my code didn’t work properly, instead of just being able to compare it to the “final” code to see where I did a typo, I’ve had to go back through videos to rewatch what Tim was entering. Then, at the point where we need resources from the repository, well, I’ve had to make do with just coming up with my own, say, PNGs.
If there’s a real problem with the git repository, please let me (us?) know. Otherwise, if it’s a misunderstanding on my part, please let me know.
In any case, I think the course is excellent and highly recommend it.
