It seems that I had an IBM account from a while ago and the message on the Dashboard said my account has been cancelled and that now I have to put in credit card information to re-activate. Is there anyway to extend my trial without resorting to creating a new account?

Hi @bmontegani, I think you have two options from here:

  1. Create a new account with a different email, which would fall under the new Lite capabilities.
  2. Put your CC information down, and be mindful of what you use. Each service on IBM Cloud that is marked with Lite is free forever. For this video course, keeping a Cloud Foundry app under 256MB and a lite CouchDB instance will never cost you money.

If you are uncomfortable with either of these, please let me know!

If you want to use Homebrew to install the CLI youโ€™ll need to remove Docker and itโ€™ll reinstall after you run this command

brew cask install ibm-cloud-cli
