Sounds like an amazing weekend. I truly hope I can attend these one day (:

Here is a proposal. Why don’t you allow people access to the vault with the purchase of access to your other video tutorials ?

You guys could consider a streaming package next year for those who could not attend in person. I bought the Vault and I am looking forward too seeing what happened, I’d love to follow in real time the workshops and tutorials though.

Super first developer conference for me. Can’t wait for next year.

I haven’t attend Conference but know the quality of your tutorials.:grinning: Definitely It was Amazing.
Looking forward for the free tutorials and Post related to this conference

When will the Advanced Debuging book,be released?

@simonqq Yeah would be great to see you there on year!

@ipaul Thank you for the suggestion, but unfortunately we can’t do this, as we do profit sharing on the Vault profits with the speakers.

@scodino Thanks for the suggestion! :]

@jstheoriginal Was awesome to see you there! :]

@aashish1aug Thanks! :]

@cnaeger In just a few weeks!

First of all, thanks for running the conference.

I see Ash Furrow being one of the speakers. I like his posts/presentations. What was his role? Could you share who was the author of / conducted each workshop?

What the quality of the videos will be? The 2016 event disappointed me in video quality/sound. Has anything changed this year in terms of video material preparation?

Best
T.

@tomn Sure, here are the answers to your questions:

  • Ash Furrow was an inspiration speaker at the conference. He gave an excellent talk on Building Compassionate Software.
  • Rene Cacheaux and Josh Berlin were the speakers for the Advanced App Architecture workshop.
  • Derek Selander was the speaker for the Advanced LLDB Debugging workshop. He is also writing a book on this subject.
  • We made some improvements to the video quality this year. First, we had a dedicated camera person in each room. Second, we used new headphones for better audio quality. Third, we now use picture-in-picture display for the coding portions of each demo.

Let me know if you have any other questions! :]
