I’m at the end of chapter 10 and I thought I would tackle the ball bouncing into eternity through the side barriers first, I got the sound challenge down in my own way (hey it worked), although was kicking myself about passing the variable for random in the same line, I’ve done that before but it never crossed my mind. So I was appreciative when I could check my attempt with your solution.
Anyway I pondered on the ball going through the barriers overnight and I ended up adding two boxes to the left and right of the barriers, setting the physics and the diffuse opacity to 0% to make them invisible, is that cheating?
Ok thats where my request comes in, it would be great to make an awesome book even better by giving solutions to the juiced up bits as you did with Geometry Fighter.
I know there are loads of ways to do the same thing in code instead of… huh hum, adding invisible barriers and it would be a welcome addition to see your solution to the juiced ideas.
