It’s difficult to share a specific date, but we are aiming at releasing in February.
Any news to share on the new book version?
We are working on the finishing touches. Almost done.
Flutter Apprentice 4th Edition is now available.
Will the physical book be colored? In the third edition, it’s hard to make up which color some of the components are since everything is grey.
What is the difference between this version and in last version? What is new in this version?
Here are just a few updates, there are more though:
New chapters on Advanced Interactive Widgets, Unit Testing, and Widget Testing.
Major update on the Firebase Cloud Firestore chapter. Instead of separate sections for manually setting up Firestore to work in Android and iOS apps, now using Firebase CLI and FlutterFire. Learning how to use it with Android, iOS, macOS, and Web apps.
State Management chapter includes Riverpod.
New apps, including some that run on web, are built throughout the book.
