The book targets Vapor 4, the current release of Vapor. While I believe that the concepts in the book will mainly apply, there’s a lot of stuff going on in Vapor 5 that is different, including Swift 6 support. So, probably a new book or documentation will be needed.

hi @matty_h and welcome to Kodeco Forums! As the author mentioned above, the book will be updated once Vapor 5 is released. Current version of Vapor is v4.119.2 (released 2 weeks ago).

The current book applies to the latest release.

Thanks @robertomachorro! I misinterpreted the recent updates with Swift Concurrency and Swift Testing as “Vapor 5.” If only I had read the blog posts on the website :sweat_smile:.
