If you had to add a login screen to "MyApplications', how would you go about it?

Continuing the discussion from Login Controller segue to TabBar Controller keeps crashing in 'MyLocations':

I know you have to change the root viewcontroller from tabBarController to loginController but I’m having trouble with the code in app delegate.
