Thanks for the feedback — you make some good points. I’d personally suggest that as Swift, Go, modern JavaScript and other languages continue to coexist in the server-side web space, each language and framework will likely seek to further streamline and incorporate the best aspects of the others. This interchange and cross-pollination should ultimately be a very good thing for us all! :]
