How to Clear all map references

When I navigate to another page in my app from the map display I get this message: Atlas page destroyed with outstanding references.
How do i clear or destroy all references to the map when I am finished with that page.

here’s the full error message:
TextureAtlasPage: Atlas page destroyed with outstanding references.: Assertion with expression - _textureRefs == 0 : Failed in file - /Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Sources/VectorKit/VectorKit-1606.34.10.29.27/src/TextureAtlas.cpp line - 604

Thanks for getting back. It seemed to have resolved itself and I am not exactly sure how. At this time i am using the dismiss and it seems to work. Thank you
