We are actively working on it and should be out by the end of the year.
We are not particularly comfortable sharing a more specific date.
What we can share though is that it’s not just a “quick update”. There will be new chapters and the existing ones will go through a good revamp

This is not good news for me hence I need to learn Flutter and Dart now. So is that mean I must not use this book for that now?
Because I saw on another thread 3rd edition has a lot of bugs with the latest Flutter and Dart. So if I’ll follow this book then it must be a nightmare thing right now no?
The conceptual parts are still valid.
The examples might have some warnings/inconsistencies here and there.
I didn’t check the other books, but if they didn’t update/publish right after the release of the new Flutter SDK, they’ll probably have similar issues.

This is a nightmare thing for a newcomer to the Flutter world. I think you must have a quick upgrade process at least 3 months after the major release of Flutter/Dart. It seems not. Your kind of upgrade is good for Flutter/Dart 4+ version. But I think Complete Reference 2.0 has been upgraded to Flutter/Dart 3+.
