The “Vapor Check Script” mentioned in the “Hello, Vapor” chapter is currently inaccessible due to an expired SSL certificate:

curl: (60) SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired
Unfortunately the endpoint is no longer maintained. However if you have swift installed and Xcode on macOS you should be fine!
