The book “Data Structures & Algorithms in Swift” is updated.
I can read it on web but cannot download pdf file, why?
I asked Kodeco support the same question, and they responded that new book updates will be accessible exclusively through the online reader.
I came here looking for the download as well. Why are Kodeco insisting on going down this online only path? It’s crazy.
I purchased this book. I’d really like to be able to download the updated version.
I don’t understand why many good books are not updated anymore, and the only updated book(Data Structures & Algorithms in Swift) has many restrictions.
They paused book updates for a while, but now they’re back. The next updates include SwiftUI Apprentice and macOS Apprentice, and I believe more are on the way.
But only updating them to view through the online viewer? This is such a bad move.
I guess I’m a ding song and didn’t read well. I bought the book thinking I’d get an epub of the newest edition only to be stuck with the online version. Quite the bummer.
As a loyal customer owning PDFs of Editions 1-4, I’m deeply disappointed that the 5th edition is only web-based. This disrupts my offline study and annotation workflow.
Hey all,
The 5th edition is now available as PDF and ePub if you’ve purchased the book.
Sorry for the months of inconveniences, and thanks for your patience and understanding.
