I created the first version of Pro Strategy Football almost five years ago, using tutorials from Rey’s site. That version was in Objective C and used cocos2d. Last year, I rewrote it in C++ and switched to cocos2d-x. As a result, my game now runs on iOS and Android, and I’ve submitted it to be Greenlit for Steam (it runs great on Windows!). Once I’m greenlit, I’ll create a Mac version, too.
Adding tons of features this year, but the big thing is that Rey’s site and cocos2d-x made it all possible.
Check out the interview here, where I discuss the game’s beginnings, which were way back in 92 with Coach Tom Landry.
