Hello, I have a developer account and have some apps. I’m considering working as a freelancer now. I could have more than 10 clients in a year. If I upload my clients’ apps to their developer accounts using my MacBook, and if one of them violate policies in their other apps and their developer accounts are suspended, will my personal developer account be affected negatively?
What can I do to feel safe for my personal developer account when I develop & publish apps for my customers?
How certain are you that policies will be violated? Are you sure you want those clients?
Theoretically, what happens in one account doesn’t affect the other. But I would imagine that duplicate contacts would be looked into by AppStore / Apple. Their platform, their rules, they do what they want.
I am not sure… that’s why I am asking… because my personal developer account is very important for me and I have apps that I’m investing time, money & generate revenue…
On the other hand, I also want to work for my customers because I want to improve myself in app development for future.
In theory, activities in one account shouldn’t impact another. However, it’s likely that the App Store/Apple would investigate duplicate contacts. It’s their platform, their rules, and they can enforce them as they see fit.
