Best monitor for Develoment

Hi,

I have a MacBook Pro 13" retina. I love this retina screen, but I consider that is so small for xcode and ios development.

Some time ago I bought a 27" Samsung with 2560x1440 resolution, but I can see the pixels and I think that my headaches come from this big monitor.

I searched for a “retina” monitor in 24" but I’m not sure if the Ultrasharp is the soltion. May be a new macbook retina 15" is better.

Can you advice me ?

Thanks,

Dani

I answer myself. I bought a 4K monitor to have something similar to MacBook retina screen with HiDPI.

My big error didn’t look MacBook specs, my early macbook 2013 doesn’t support 4K. Thanks to SwitchResX I have 4K at 30Hz. I’m impressed with “retina” on my 24" monitor.

Finally, I prefer macbook screen, but now I have something bigger with more quality than a traditional monitor.

May be this is useful for someone.

I like my ultrawide monitor because I can run xcode and a tutorial page (web or PDF) side by side

I don’t have an extra monitor hahaha, but i would buy an ultrawide monitor

Could you please tell us which 4K monitor did you buy? I’m looking for a 4K monitor that is above 24" myself and they’re few

Of Course: ViewSonic VX2475SMHL-4K
I hate Samsung monitors, bad experiences.
The alternative was a Dell, but I had good and bad experiences, but globally sense was bad.

Thanks, seems to be a good one! I had that ASUS PQ321QE in mind. Will have to check some reviews.
