There have been some mentions about errata and other problems, yet there are barely any responses from the members of the team. It is kind of offensive, given the fact that books are not free, and there are problems (see errata) or questions that arise while reading them. Some response from the team would be appreciated. And if not - at least a link to alternative channel (such as discord forum) for the book discussion.
First, you are right, this is the place to report issues and ask questions about books. However, it is my understanding that authors have a finite period of time (6 months after publishing?) to resolve issues. Otherwise support would become an unpaid full-time job, and not writing books.
I recommend you join the Discord server to post questions and let the community help as well: Kodeco Chat
I am not sure it unpaid full-time job. There should not be a lot of errors, and readers of the book who pay not a small amount of money for subscription or buying a book deserve updated place to track errors in a book. A publisher or an author that respects itself often updates errors for years after the book is published. It is expected that errors might be detected even years after the book has been published, and spending few minutes to check reported errors once in a few days is hardly a full-time job.
