Is it necessary for a company to hire UI/ UX designer and modular separately or UI designer can perform the modular tasks as well?

Yes off course, according to me you need to hire two separate people for both the profiles because both are different profiles from each other. one is for designing and the other is smart solutions used to build a variety of products for diverse uses: structures, carriages, stands and other installations.
