Request for future content


I liked the book a lot. It would been really nice to have a small chapter devoted to how to import dae (Collada) files and a walk through on fixing the y-axis problem and other oddities. This would open up a whole new avenue for us Scenekit learners as it would allow us to go buy our own 3d assets and import them into scenekit for our game development.

With the advent of ARKit, Scenekit has a real opportunity to become a major player in the 3d game development world, but we need to start catching up to Unity’s huge community/marketplace/resources available for developers to learn.
