overrideUserInterfaceStyle for Preferences window

I can override the dark mode of my app, but when the app’s preferences window opens (the one catalyst adds for me if I have a Settings.bundle), that window does NOT honor my overrideUserInterfaceStyle setting. Any ideas?

Yes, the preference window still takes on the color scheme of the OS, and not my app. See screenshot.
