When I try to duplicate the bricks and I change their colors (after unsharing them as the book told) it doesn’t work. All the other bricks change to the same color. It seems that the “unshare” function doesn’t work.
If I create a new brick from scratch, otherwise, I can change its color without interfering with the other bricks.
Am I doing something wrong?

Ok I found a way. You can go to the materials inspector, under materials you press the minus symbol to erase the material and then press + button to create a new material. This way you can change the colors independently.
