Update: I started from the macOS challenge folder and added a new target, tvOS. It now seems to only have the Apple tv icons and not the additional Universal ones. I must have done something wrong the first time…not sure what…
The images in the starter folder don’t seem to be correct. The ones in the final folder work better.
In the final folder there are imagestacks. Maybe when the target is added the wrong type of Asset is created by Xcode. It include Universal as well as Apple TV icon. [I think the imagestacks are produced by Xcode when the one image is added as shown in the book].
