Retired from a career in IT … Never really transitioned in a technical sense from COBOL to OO programming. Just a smattering of OO here and there. Instead, when into Project Management. Now that I’m retired I’m learning OO and especially Flutter. Dart feels really easy in most areas since I had learned C many moons ago.
My goal for the last 20 years or so has been to build a PIM / To Do List program that adapts to the way I want it to work … which is difficult because I’m a subscriber to the To Do Method Of The Month Club
Any projects I build will either be open source or purely for my wife and I
… and maybe for the members of my HOA (Home Owners Association).
I’ve chosen Flutter because my projects will be Android phone, Android tablet, Windows, and web. Since I don’t own a Mac or any Apple product, IOS will never be a target for me.
