# Unity 2018.1 just released today. Any plans on an update?

I was thinking about starting up with the tutorial, and was wondering if there was a 2018.1 update releasing for this book? If so Ill probably wait a bit to begin.

Hey there!

The updated version will be released by the end of this month if all goes to plan.  
You should be able to use the current version with 2018.1 without any trouble though, the content itself will be mostly the same.
