This chapter seems to skip Raycasting and physics altogether. The code in this chapter sets up spawning emojis, but that’s it. Am I missing something here or is the chapter incomplete?

This is the end of the chapter: “Great, you’re finally spawning emojis! You’re welcome to do a quick build and run to test things out, but prepare to be underwhelmed.”

My bad. I was using the ePub version of the book and must have had the wrong version. Everything seems to be there with a fresh download. 😁
