Page 104 of Swiftui Apprentice (v.3) refers to extracting a subview by right clicking a VStack. As I understand it, the ability to do this has not been available in Xcode for quite a while.

I followed this example as written and ran into an issue, but I believe I found the cause. The correct command appears to be expr -l swift -- import Foundation, not ex -l swift -- import Foundation as shown in the book. ā¦
